Investments in challenging times: How can Romanian firms thrive in the new context?


On March 16, 2023, the NBR - European Investment Bank (EIB) joint conference was held in hybrid format. The event focused on the presentation of the results of the EIB Group survey on investment and investment finance 2022: Country overview – Romania, with the aim of debating some topics regarding investments and their financing, respectively the competitiveness of Romanian companies in the context of the transition to a greener economy and the increase in energy costs. The conference is part of the EIB Investment series of events held annually in Romania, in collaboration with the NBR. The event brought together representatives of the NBR and EIB, specialists from the financial-banking system, state and private companies and public institutions from Romania, as well as representatives of international financial bodies.
