NBR's International Reserves - November 2010

On November 30th 2010, National Bank of Romania's foreign exchange reserves stood at EUR 32,800 million, compared to EUR 32,309 million on October 31st 2010.
During the month, the following flows have taken place:
- EUR 2,615 million inflows, representing inflows in the Ministry of Public Finances’ accounts (including the amounts resulted from the issuance of euro denominated bonds on the domestic market), changes in the foreign exchange reserve requirements of the credit institutions, income from the management of foreign exchange reserves, a.s.o.;
- EUR 2,124 million outflows, representing interest and principal payments on public and publicly guaranteed internal and external debt (including the amounts representing the reimbursement of the euro denominated bonds maturing on the domestic market), changes in the foreign exchange reserve requirements of the credit institutions, a.s.o. .
The gold stock has held steady at 103.7 tonnes. However, following the change in the international price of gold, its value amounted to EUR 3,522 million.
The international reserves of Romania (foreign currencies and gold) on November 30th 2010 stood at EUR 36,322 million, compared to EUR 35,532 million on October 31st 2010.
During the month of December 2010, the payments due on public and publicly guaranteed external debt amount to EUR 92.68 million.
