The state-of-affairs at Banca Turco-Română

On the evening of 13 November 2000, the National Bank of Romania executives have held talks of a technical nature on the state-of-affairs at Banca Turco-Română in a meeting with representatives of the Turkish authorities, i.e. executives of the Central Bank of Turkey, of the Treasury, and of the Supervision Authority.
The talks focused on identifying the means to tackle the problems Banca Turco-Română is facing at the moment.
The participants have thus agreed on joining their efforts to make a decision as soon as possible.
