Governor Mugur Isărescu met Mr Gang Yi, Governor of the People’s Bank of China

From 28 February to 5 March 2019, NBR Governor Mugur Isărescu was on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, following an invitation from Mr Gang Yi, Governor of the People’s Bank of China.
During the visit, the NBR delegation had meetings with the senior management of the Chinese central bank, of the Bank of China, and of the Asian International Infrastructure Bank.
Discussions focused on promoting bilateral financial cooperation, on global economic and financial developments, as well as on other related topics.
