A First for the Museum of the National Bank of Romania

The Museum of the National Bank of Romania will for the first time participate in the European cultural event “The Night of Museums” 2015.
The NBR invites the public to visit a mini-exhibition called "Gold from the Vault" on Saturday, 16 May 2015, from 07.00 PM to 11.00 PM at the NBR entrance in 8 Doamnei St.
On display will be gold ingots of the NBR Museum exhibited in a custom-made showcase - the authentic exhibits are of particular interest to the public - and will be accompanied by relevant information. Visitors can watch a documentary featuring the theme of the exhibition produced with the support of the Romanian Television. The film will run on TV screens in front of the NBR building and special dynamic projections will be projected on the façade.
Access to the event is free of charge.
The participation of the Museum of the National Bank of Romania in the visitors path of Bucharest museums is part of a series of events dedicated to the anniversary of 135 years since the establishment of Romania’s central bank.
