Numismatic issues dedicated to the anniversary of 25 years since the establishment of the Romanian Intelligence Service

Pursuant to the provisions of Law No. 312/2004 on the Statute of the National Bank of Romania, as of 23 March 2015, the National Bank of Romania will put into circulation, for numismatic purposes, a silver coin dedicated to the anniversary of 25 years since the establishment of the Romanian Intelligence Service.
The coin has the following technical characteristics:

- Metal: silver
- Fineness: 999‰
- Shape: round
- Diameter: 37 mm
- Weight: 31.103 g
- Quality: proof
- Edge: milled
Obverse: the headquarters of the Romanian Intelligence Service, the coat of arms of Romania, the inscription “ROMANIA” in an arc, the face value “10 LEI”, and the year of issue “2015”.
Reverse: a graphic composition suggesting the anniversary of 25 years since the establishment, in 1990, of the Romanian Intelligence Service and the inscriptions “SERVICIUL ROMAN DE INFORMATII” and “PATRIA A PRIORI”, the motto of the institution, in an arc.
The silver coins are individually housed in transparent plastic capsules. They are accompanied by leaflets featuring a presentation of the numismatic issue in Romanian, English and French.
Each leaflet comes with a certificate of authenticity bearing the signatures of the Governor and the Chief Cashier of the National Bank of Romania.
The mintage of this numismatic issue is 250 coins.
The selling price is lei 320.00, VAT excluded, per silver coin, including the leaflet.
The silver coins dedicated to the anniversary of 25 years since the establishment of the Romanian Intelligence Service are legal tender on the territory of Romania.
The silver coins will be put into circulation through the branches of the National Bank of Romania in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iaşi and Timişoara.
