Other NBR activities aimed at promoting sustainability
In line with international recommendations and European central banks’ efforts, the NBR has been constantly working on reducing energy consumption in its own buildings, both at its headquarters and in the territorial network. Concrete actions to protect the environment were in launched with various projects, the most relevant being the Project Time for green - Green over time (Romanian version only). Internally, the NBR has recently launched on its Intranet platform a campaign to raise awareness about sustainability and ESG benchmarks, promoting the importance of separate waste collection and recycling of packaging, and the reduction of electricity and carbon consumption.
