The drafting of Romania’s Balance of Payments and International Investment Position – Annual Report 2020 was completed by the Statistics Department based on data available in November 2021.

Some of the statistical data are provisional and will be updated as appropriate in the subsequent publications of the National Bank of Romania. The source of data was indicated only when data were provided by other institutions.

Data series were compiled in compliance with the BPM6 methodology and are available in the interactive database.
