After being visited by more than 16,000 people in Bucharest, at the Museum for National science “Grigore Antipa”, our “Zoomonetary” exhibition – World Fauna on Coins and Banknotes was hosted in Tulcea, at the initiative of the Institute for Eco-Museum Research “Gavrila Simon”.
Our temporary exhibition was inaugurated on Friday, November 14th, 2014 at the Eco-Touristic Museum Center “Danube Delta” and was open to the public until March 15th, 2015. The opening of Zoomonetary became part of the Eco-Museum research Institute’s event agenda for the celebration of 136 years since Dobrogea was returned to greater Romania.
The project had been jointly initiated by the Museum of the National bank of Romania and the Museum for Natural History “Grigore Antipa”.
